When asked what I do for Travois, I tell people “I ensure our clients’ developments succeed and thrive!”

Affordable housing can be complicated and, at times, confusing. I strive to be the person you can come to for help. I truly believe there is no such thing as a stupid question.

I love helping people, and oddly, I like paperwork.

I’ve worked in the trenches: renting, operating and maintaining affordable housing. My first experience was an initial LIHTC lease up. It was a challenge nearly equal to finishing a full Ironman! (I did it! Yes, it was hard.)

After 15 years, I’m still learning more and sharing what I’ve learned with others. I hold six professional designations: I hold the National Compliance Professional (NCP) designation and five certifications from the National Center for Housing Management:

• Certified Occupancy Specialist.
• Certified Occupancy Specialist Advanced.
• Tax Credit Specialist.
• Blended Occupancy Specialist and Management.
• Occupancy Review Specialist.


I also serve as an advisory board member for the National Compliance Professionals Conference.
