Travois Asset Management is sponsoring a Uniform Physical Conditions Standards (UPCS) Inspection Protocol Training on Monday, Sept. 8 and Tuesday, Sept. 9 at the Mystic Lake Casino Hotel in Prior Lake, MN

Hurry and book your hotel room before this Friday’s deadline. To reserve a hotel room at a discounted rate of $109/night plus tax, please call the Mystic Lake Casino Hotel at 800-262-7799 and mention “Travois.” The discount is available through Friday, Aug. 15.

The training will cover on-site physical inspection requirements related to LIHTC projects, NAHASDA, USDA and other HUD-related housing programs, and is designed for resident services and maintenance staff and is also applicable to executive staff, occupancy specialists and any other staff involved in the day-to-day management of Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) units.

The UPCS guidelines are used by state housing agencies all over the country as the physical inspection guidelines for all federal and state housing projects. It is very important that all housing staff is familiar with these guidelines in order to successfully pass investor and state housing agency physical inspections.

The Inspection Group, a company that provides trainings and inspections for all affordable housing entities around the country, will lead the sessions. Instructor Michael Gantt, a former-REAC inspector and UPCS inspection protocol trainer, has conducted thousands of REAC/UPCS inspections over the past ten years, and he has contributed articles to many national trade publications.

This two two-day training usually costs up to $400 person, but Travois is pleased to offer a reduced rate of $295 per person. Click here for a registration form and agenda.
