Get out and vote

The National Congress of American Indians (NCAI) initiated a nonpartisan campaign called Native Vote to promote voting in Indian Country.

Check out this public service announcement.

Election Day is around the corner, and Native Vote encourages everyone to:

  1. Make sure you are registered to vote. There may still be time to register in your state. Check out this website for deadlines.
  2. Vote on Tuesday, Nov. 6. Learn about early voting, absentee voting and voter identification requirements in your state at www.866ourvote.org/state.
  3. Get involved. Coordinate or volunteer locally. More information is here.
  4. Spread the word and make every vote count. Follow @NativeVote on Twitter or like Native Vote on Facebook: www.facebook.com/nativevote.

No matter which side you take, it is critical that your vote is counted. Read more from NCAI here.
