This month the Travois Anigadugi Volunteer Committee partnered with Harvesters, a local nonprofit organization that strives “to feed hungry people today and work to end hunger tomorrow.”
Travois employees donated part of their lunch breaks on Friday to pack lunches for children around the Kansas City metro as part of the “Give Lunch” Challenge.
We packed 100 lunches with juice, canned meat, a fruit cup, pudding, crackers and cookies. The donated lunches will be used for youth programs, including Harvesters’ homeless teen mobile food pantry.
