Measuring ROI: Putting Educare in context

Travois has a culture of impact measurement and monitoring. Unlike a lot of other investment firms, we measure the return on investment we deliver to our partners in more than one way.

Of course, Travois is proud that we have always met or exceeded tax credit investor’s financial goals in Indian Country. Our investors also want certainty that the community impacts promised — new jobs, new housing, new educational services — come to fruition.

We have the privilege of seeing investments in early childhood education with our own eyes. We have been working with the Winnebago Tribe from concept through construction on the first Educare School on tribal land. We are proud to say that we have seen firsthand, since the school opened, the positive community impacts it is creating.

If you want to learn more about the benefits of Educare, however, I would also suggest you check out the organization’s web page for Winnebago. It offers links to interesting articles that put this specific transaction in its broader context.

Travois will continue to study the financial, educational and emotional changes occurring within families because the Tribe had the vision to pursue this project. #20YearsEquals greater opportunities for American Indian families from tribes with progressive leadership. Travois is proud to count those on the cutting edge among our clients.
