This project was allocated tax credits in 2010. The Pascua Yaqui Tribe completed its 40-unit, new construction and acquisition/rehabilitation project, Pascua Yaqui Homes I, in 2012.
Twenty of the tribe’s existing housing units were rehabilitated, and 20 new units were built on the Pascua Yaqui Reservation in Tucson, AZ. The homes are occupied by tenants with incomes at or below 40, 50, and 60 percent Area Median Income. The units include amenities such as low-flow water fixtures, energy-saving appliances and in-unit washers and dryers. The tribe also received a $400,000 grant from the Federal Home Loan Bank’s Affordable Housing Program (AHP) that significantly reduced the tribe’s financial contribution to the project.

Raymond James Tax Credit Funds is the investor for this project.
