Register today and submit a superhero nomination for our 18th Annual Travois Conference!

It’s time to request your travel, book your flight, reserve your hotel room and nominate a superhero! Join us April 9-11 in Marina del Rey, California, for the 18th Annual Travois Indian Country Affordable Housing & Economic Development Conference.

Our two-day conference combines instruction, client case studies, panel discussions with industry experts and hands-on activities. We demonstrate successful projects and future possibilities for community growth and development using the Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) and New Markets Tax Credit (NMTC) programs. New this year, we will also discuss Sustainable, Responsible, Impact (SRI) Investing in Indian Country. Check out our session line-up here.

We are offering 150 free registrations (thank you to our 2018 sponsors!) for qualifying attendees, who work in housing, community or economic development and who serve American Indian, Alaska Native or Native Hawaiian communities or people.

You want to grab one of these seats — our host hotel, the Marina del Rey Marriott, is located in one of the most desirable coastal communities in Southern California with beaches, water activities, coastal and harbor views, perfect weather and good vibes. (Read our recommendations here.) Registered attendees will receive a confirmation email with instructions on how to book a discounted hotel room. The deadline for discounted pricing is Friday, March 16.

As past years have demonstrated, our conference is educational, inspirational and a lot of fun. Since 2015, we’ve honored industry professionals doing amazing work in their communities at our Superhero Awards luncheon. You can submit nominations on our website. Tell us who you think should win and why with our easy nomination form. We’re accepting nominations through Friday, March 2.

Nominations can be coworkers, peers from other communities, a family member, someone you look up to, someone you see potential in, or yourself! We want to hear about everyone who is doing great things in Indian Country!

Register yourself and your colleagues, nominate your superheroes, and we’ll see you in sunny SoCal!
