We are participating in Kansas City’s annual Corporate Challenge. Corporate Challenge is an Olympic-style event that encourages Kansas City area companies to interact with each other through a variety of sporting events. Though it is Travois’ first year competing, 2012 marks the 33rd year for the Kansas City Corporate Challenge.
Each year the Challenge schedules a kickoff party to promote the cause, create excitement and spark competition. Our Missouri weather failed us, and the event was rained out, but that didn’t stop us from having our own kickoff party in our office.
We feasted and worked on our team spirit with Travois-inspired cheers before participating in the first event of the challenge – the one-mile walk!
