Certified Tribal Housing Professional
The Certified Tribal Housing Professional (CTHP) certification equips employees to use the Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC), the primary program for affordable housing development in the United States, in conjunction with NAHASDA.
Our curriculum is designed for employees of Tribally Designated Housing Entities (TDHEs). We share our experience to help you understand how to access and use key funding sources to benefit your Native community.

Benefits of the CTHP course
The course is ideal for Tribal housing directors, project managers, financial officers, and others involved in developing and managing affordable housing.

Each attendee receives a comprehensive course manual, access to online resources, and ongoing support from industry experts.
Certification and continuing education requirements
Course participants who pass the exam, complete the Certification of Work Experience, and execute the Code of Professional Responsibility will be certified.
To maintain CTHP designation, certificate holders must complete six hours of approved continuing education units (CEUs) annually and submit documentation. They must also continue to adhere to the Code of Professional Responsibility.

- Approved nationally recognized training courses
