A thriving community
The designs for the new units were inspired by Colonial Barrio architecture, the design pays homage to the Tohono O’odham Nation’s culturally significant San Xavier Mission.
The homes feature bright colors shaded areas, outdoor patio space, unique door and window frames and natural wood elements.

Community
The project also built a new recreation community building to serve all residents of the Gu Achi community.
The rec center is currently the only of its kind in the area providing the community with a gym, workout equipment, fitness classes, locker rooms, an outdoor basketball court, a walking path, playground and covered picnic area.
The need for this housing project is undeniable. The LIHTC program provides an unbeatable leveraging tool to help us stretch our resources. We are excited about embarking on another tax credit project. We have surrounded ourselves with a development team that will make this project a success.
