We support our employees as whole people.
Our employees advocate for clients, improving lives by offering tools for healthy, affordable, and sustainable communities. In turn, we ensure our team members are supported with generous benefits and the resources they need. We value diversity in thought, background, experience, and opinion because it fosters a strong workplace culture.
Providing competitive benefits
Our employees receive attractive salaries, generous retirement plan contributions, and professional development support.
We also cover most of the costs for their health, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance plans.
Promoting work-life balance
We provide unlimited paid time off and remote work options to encourage a healthy work-life balance.
Additionally, we offer up to 16 weeks of paid parental leave to celebrate new family members and operate on-site day care.
Cultivating a positive workplace
Throughout the year, we organize social events, volunteer opportunities, and weekly catered lunches to build meaningful connections between our employees.
Plus, we’re also a dog-friendly office with a casual dress code.
Job opportunities
Our in-house architecture firm, Travois Architecture, is growing, and we’re hiring an architect to join our team.
The Architect II will lead Travois projects through all phases of design, from concept to construction. Responsibilities include preparing detailed construction documents, coordinating with consultants, and managing all portions of the project.
The role requires a strong understanding of architectural principles, attention to detail, knowledge of construction methods, project coordination skills, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Tribal Internship Program
Travois proudly sponsors interns from Tribal colleges and programs across the country. Through our paid Tribal internship program, participants gain knowledge about housing and economic development in Native communities.
Specifically, they may support our teams in the development and management of Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) projects and/or New Markets Tax Credit projects.
The intern may also participate in administrative tasks or other initiatives developed by our management team
The internship program lasts 10-12 weeks, and participants are expected to work 30-40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
Please reach out to Ashley Bland at ashley@travois.com for additional information.
