Endazhi-Nitaawiging Charter School is the Red Lake Nation’s first charter school grounded in the Ojibwe language and culture.
Located in Red Lake, Minnesota, the school opened in 2022 by enrolling students in grades kindergarten through fifth and will add a grade each year until 2025-26, expanding to students through eighth grade.
The New Markets Tax Credit investment helped funded a new building to permanently house the school, which had been operating out of several temporary buildings.
