Why attend?

Our educational conference combines instruction, client case studies, panel discussions with industry experts and hands-on activities. We demonstrate successful projects and future possibilities for community growth and development using the Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) and New Markets Tax Credit (NMTC) programs. In 2018, we also discussed Sustainable, Responsible, Impact (SRI) Investing in Indian Country for the first time.

Using the two federal tax credit programs, our clients have created more than $1.3 billion of new and rehabilitated homes, businesses and services and more vibrant communities for American Indians, Alaska Natives and Native Hawaiians.

 

Who should attend?

We offer free registrations* for qualifying attendees, who work in housing, community or economic development and who serve American Indian, Alaska Native or Native Hawaiian communities or people. Plan ahead to make sure you get one of these seats!

*A hotel reservation under the Travois room block and a firm commitment to attend are required to receive your free registration.

Qualifying attendees include staff members and executive directors, elected leadership, board members or commissioners, and other employees of TDHEs, tribal housing authorities, tribes, tribal colleges and universities, Alaska Native Corporations, villages or tribes, and Native Hawaiian organizations.
