This 40-unit project, located on the Spokane Indian Reservation, received an allocation from the Washington State Housing Finance Commission in 2011. The project consists of 20 new construction units and 20 rehabilitated units located in the cities of Fruitland, Ford, and Wellpinit, WA.
The entire development consists of 12 two-bedroom, 14 three-bedroom and 13 four-bedroom units and one five-bedroom unit. These units serve households with incomes at or below 30 (16 units), 40 (12 units) and 60 percent (12 units) Area Median Income.
The project is designed to be energy efficient and includes landscaped yards. A new community center/recreational area, which includes a community building, outdoor basketball court, playground equipment and a horseshoe pit, serves all residents of the project.
Travois Environmental Services provided a Phase I Environmental Site Assessment and environmental testing for the project.
RBC Capital Markets is the investor for this project.
