We’re heading to the Big Easy — New Orleans! Le Méridien New Orleans will be the site of the 15th Annual Travois Indian Country Affordable Housing & Economic Development Conference.
Our conference registration is open and free of charge to employees of TDHEs, tribes, Alaska Native groups, Native Hawaiian organizations and Native-owned businesses! Register here through our online system.
Come to New Orleans for a one-of-a-kind training on Monday, Sept. 21 through Wednesday, Sept. 23. Network with industry leaders, veteran developers and young professionals. And celebrate 20 years with us, filled with client accomplishments and successful projects!
As part of our 20th anniversary year, we will be congratulating our wonderful clients and industry leaders on their hard work and successful projects at an awards luncheon! We will be soliciting nominations in the near future — keep your eye out for more details and be thinking of your nominations!
Now let’s talk about what’s really important (I’m only kidding — a little). The food in New Orleans is phenomenal. Here’s my NOLA to-do list: welcome reception, sessions, awards luncheon, cheesy grits, gumbo, oysters, a po’boy, more sessions, networking, jambalaya, beignets, more beignets, and more beignets. I’ve got a packed schedule — you should definitely follow my lead!
Special to this year’s conference is a joint NAHASDA-Tax Credit Compliance Professional (NTCCP) Certification Training that will be offered through the National American Indian Housing Council (NAIHC) at the same venue. Join Crystal Banks-Mann, assistant director for Travois Asset Management, for the course. NAIHC will manage registration for this Leadership Institute Training through its website.
