It’s been a great anniversary year celebrating 20 years in business and $1 billion of investment in American Indian, Alaska Native and Native Hawaiian communities.

What a fun year 2015 has been!

In our 20 years in business, we’ve been fortunate to work with extremely dedicated and hard working individuals. And even better, when a group of individuals comes together and truly works as a team to meet common goals, they produce incredible results.

In our second-to-last spotlight on our 20th Anniversary Superheroes, we’re highlighting the important work and leadership of three women who have made an enormous difference in their communities.

So far, we’ve recognized an executive director, two attorneys and two behind-the-scenes problem-solvers as part of our 20th Anniversary Superhero Awards. Today, we are focusing on the future.

In 20 years in business, Travois has hosted 15 annual conferences to share information about opportunities for creating new homes and businesses in Native communities. And we’re known to have some fun, too.

We’ve made it halfway into spotlighting our 20th Anniversary Superheroes, our clients and partners who have accomplished amazing things in the housing and economic development industries!

Last week, we announced our 20th Anniversary Superhero awardees and spotlighted the first individual.
Today we are excited to highlight and tell you more about our next two superheroes, Angela Christy and Darryl Jacobs, who are both distinguished attorneys.

We are thrilled to be celebrating our 20th anniversary in business this year. But what we’re most excited about is celebrating what you – our clients and partners – have done over the past 20 years and what you’re doing to make the next 20 years even better.

Travois’ job is to connect private investors with change agents throughout Indian Country. We provide the advice and capital that helps successful businesses, projects and programs grow. This gives us a glimpse into numerous aspects of life in Indian Country.
