As Travois continues to add business development services to complement its housing development services, the company will feature nationally recognized business leader Lance Morgan as this year’s conference keynote speaker.
Morgan, president of Ho-Chunk, Inc.—the economic development arm of the Winnebago Tribe—will address hundreds of Tribal housing and economic development leaders at the Seventh Annual Travois Indian Country Tax Credit Conference at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in Seattle, WA August 22.
The three-day conference, which runs from August 21st to 23rd, will feature fascinating panels on what Tribes can do to develop quality housing and create jobs on the reservation. Morgan’s speech will be a perfect addition to a great lineup of presenters.
His business acumen has been cited by the numerous organizations that have given awards to Ho-Chunk: the National Congress of American Indians, the Harvard University Project on American Indian Economic Development, the Harvard University Institute of Government, Minorities in Business magazine and Inc. magazine. He holds a law degree from Harvard and a degree in economics from the University of Nebraska.
Morgan is an inspiring and humorous speaker whose keynote address will be the highlight of a conference that grows in attendance with each passing year.
