Architectural Designer I | Travois
In my role as an architectural designer, I create and communicate designs through renderings and architectural drawing, as well as ensure the design intent translates through the construction phase. I enjoy digging into the technical aspects and figuring out how the design translates into details and components. I’m always willing and ready to learn about the client and their project, so we can turn their goals into an architectural design.
I’m passionate about using my architectural skills for the benefit of the community — especially those looking for affording housing and sustainable alternatives. Travois is the perfect fit!
After growing up and living in Guaynabo, Puerto Rico, for most of my life, I attended Kansas State University where I earned a Master of Architecture degree with a minor in creative writing. I'm a certified LEED Green Associate and currently pursuing my architecture license.
Though most of my immediate family lives back home, I have relatives across the states and enjoy visiting everyone! Outside of work, I stay involved in the community as a board member for STEAM Studio in Kansas City, Missouri.
On weekends, you’ll probably find me hanging out with my partner and our friends, reading and playing with my cat! The perfect day for me is when my to-do list is complete and I’m able to focus on my friends and family.
