It is important to remember that our job is, first and foremost, about people. Every family deserves a safe, affordable and comfortable home. You work in housing because you want to help individual families have a roof over their heads. So do I.

I understand the importance of focusing on people. In my previous role, I was a grant coordinator for an adoption organization. I wrote grant applications and served as a client liaison. These experiences are invaluable assets as I approach my work because I know at the end of any chain of documents, there is a person or family we are trying to serve.

I attended the University of Nebraska at Kearney and received a bachelor’s degree in political science with a minor in health sciences and a master’s degree in history.
