Pascua Yaqui Homes #10 received a 2023 Low-Income Housing Tax Credit award from the Arizona Department of Housing. This development is the Tribe’s tenth LIHTC project and will feature a 45-unit mixed-use apartment building with office space on the Pascua Yaqui Reservation in Tucson Arizona.
This five-story multifamily building will include 45 one-bedroom units specifically targeting for the Tribe’s elders. Amenities include covered parking, a community garden and a community room. It will also include office space on the fourth and fifth floor for the housing department’s offices.
This project is the fourth phase of the larger master-planned community of Yaqui Square on the Pascua Yaqui Reservation. In total, Yaqui Square will include 172 affordable housing units for Pascua Yaqui Tribal members.
