A panel of judges selected 25 NextGen Leaders, a Kansas City Business Journal award, based on their accomplishments, talents and contributions to the Kansas City community. Elizabeth Bland Glynn, our chief operation officer (and my daughter), was selected as one of these inspiring 25. I am a proud (but not surprised) father!
Elizabeth represents both the next generation of Kansas City leaders and the next generation of our family business.
She has worked with us since 2004, giving her a unique perspective on how the pieces of Travois fit together. You may have previously worked with her to submit a Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) application, or on closing your project with an investor or on advocating for Qualified Allocation Plan (QAP) changes in your state.
She has the ability to home in on the key components of any problem or opportunity and because she knows the details of our business and our clients’ projects so well, she very often can offer a solution or an alternative.
I am especially proud that Elizabeth puts people first. She invests the time in getting to know our clients, project partners and employees. She knows what is going on with their families as well as their projects.
Securing a better next generation for our clients and our employees is Travois’ goal. I have complete confidence in Elizabeth’s ability to carry that standard.
Congrats, Elizabeth, Travois is proud of you!
