Just a short 45-minute drive from the Travois office, Haskell Indian Nations University provides a college education to students from more than 150 tribes each year.
Travois was proud to donate billboard space on our property to the Haskell Foundation recently, and we’re even prouder to be hosting the foundation’s Cornerstone Benefit from 6-9 p.m. Saturday, April 23 at our office, 310 W. 19th Terrace in Kansas City, MO.
You’re invited to join the party! If you live nearby or will be visiting the Kansas City or Lawrence area on April 23, please find more information or purchase tickets at www.haskellfoundation.org.
The Haskell Foundation provides financial and academic opportunities to students and faculty of the tribal college, located in Lawrence, KS. Contributions to the Haskell Foundation support projects and programs that promote academic excellence, student services, campus infrastructure, the preservations of historic buildings, the modernization of technology and equipment, and general enrichment of the campus.
This benefit will include a silent auction featuring artwork by Haskell students and items donated by Native American artists and supporters. Beer (by Stockyards Brewing Co.!), wine, hors d’Oeuvres (by Moxie Catering) and entertainment will also be provided as part of the $50 ticket.
All contributions benefit major capital projects at Haskell Indian Nations University.
If you’d like to attend, please RSVP by this Friday, April 15, to Lois Stevens at 785-749-8425 or lstevens@haskellfoundation.org. Or purchase tickets at www.haskellfoundation.org.
And if you can’t attend, please consider attending the 2016 Commencement Powwow on May 6 and 7 at the Haskell Indian Nations University campus in Lawrence, KS.
We hope to see you there!
