We’re getting ready for Austin — are you? Mark your calendar to join us in the live music capital of the world for our 17th Annual Indian Country Affordable Housing & Economic DevelopmentConference on April 3-5, 2017!
Austin is known for its legendary live music, awesome restaurant scene (food trucks too!) and unique culture. We’ve already picked out some can’t-miss Austin attractions — food, activities and sights! Check them out here.
Thanks to the support of our industry sponsors, we will again offer free conference registration to employees of TDHEs, tribes, Alaska Native groups and Native Hawaiian organizations. Keep an eye out for registration to open later this year.
To help with early planning, we’ve added a tentative schedule on our website. You can view it here. We’ll soon be adding more to our agenda, including instruction on the Low Income Housing Tax Credit and New Markets Tax Credit programs, asset management/compliance, environmental services, and architectural design and construction monitoring.
And for the third year in a row, we will be honoring industry professionals doing outstanding work in their communities at our Superhero Awards ceremony. View 2015 Superheroes here and 2016 Superheroes here.
