Recently, I was lucky enough to visit the Fort Peck Indian Reservation in Montana to tag along with the photographer shooting the Fort Peck Housing Authority’s second Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) project.
I have been involved with this project from beginning to end. I was on the survey and environmental team for the first site visits of this project, I was involved with the design team during design meetings with FPHA, and then during the two years of construction, I was a part of the construction monitoring team that provided monthly construction updates and site visits.
Now that the project is 100 percent complete, it is great to be able to visit the homes and see how well they are being cared for and decorated. These homes are beautiful and in a beautiful location. The photo shoot was a lot of fun, and it gave me to opportunity to look closely at the finished details of the homes and see the wonderful landscape around each of the homes. It was also nice to meet a few families who are living in the homes.
Our Travois Design & Construction Services team designed the homes and what a great job they did! We congratulate the Fort Peck Assiniboine & Sioux Tribes and the Fort Peck Housing Authority on this wonderful project!
