The Greater Kansas City Chamber of Commerce has been spotlighting the importance of small businesses (fewer than 250 employees) on the regional economy for the past 26 years.
Out of several hundred nominees, Travois made the final cut of the top ten nominees. Unfortunately, Travois did not bring home the coveted Mr. K Award (named for the late Ewing M. Kauffman) bestowed upon the first place winner.
That honor went to Boulevard Brewing Company.
Businesses were judged on growth, sustainability, community service and employee relations. We are very proud of our excellent relationships with our clients and our employees and that our little company was recognized as a top candidate.
We definitely feel like a winner.
