Give and Go: Lacrosse in Indian Country

Here at “Give and Go,” we don’t just limit ourselves to basketball. We enjoy stories of athletic achievement from all sports in Indian Country. So, we’d like to share this story from Inside Lacrosse about two brothers, Miles and Lyle Thompson, and their cousin Ty, and their success in collegiate lacrosse.

We send a much belated congratulations to Miles and Lyle for being named co-winners of the Tewaaraton Trophy, an award given annually to the most outstanding American college lacrosse player. This was the first time that the most coveted award in lacrosse has been awarded to a Native American.
