Our annual conference is just a few days away and the majority of our Travois staff is packing up and getting ready to head to Tucson. Boxes are stacked all over the place.

Justin Savich recently joined the Travois team. We asked him to fill out this short questionnaire so our staff, clients and project partners could get to know him better. Justin works for Travois Asset Management.

Ariana Miller recently joined the Travois family of companies as project manager for Travois New Markets. As project manager, she works on New Markets Tax Credit projects and helps clients through the closing process to receive private investor funds for economic development projects.

Emily Siedlik is one of the newest members of our Travois team. She started out as an intern this summer and was recently hired to join the development team full time.

The 2012 Olympic Games in London is in full swing. While I have enjoyed watching all of the events, I was really looking forward to watching the men’s 10,000-meter race.
I cheered for our American runner, Galen Rupp, as he came in second and won the silver medal, the first medal for a U.S.

Excitement is circulating from the birth of a white bison. The bull calf was born on a Connecticut farm in mid-June. The owner of the farm, Peter Fay, began raising bison as a hobby four years ago.

We would like to send congratulations to the Colville Indian Housing Authority (CIHA) and brag about them a little! CIHA’s Low Income Housing Tax Credit project, Colville Homes II, has been selected as this year’s Rural Housing winner in the Charles L.

We are participating in Kansas City’s annual Corporate Challenge. Corporate Challenge is an Olympic-style event that encourages Kansas City area companies to interact with each other through a variety of sporting events.
