The Novogradac Journal of Tax Credits highlighted three Travois New Markets projects in recent issues: the Pueblo of Laguna Utility Authority’s water/wastewater project in New Mexico, the Molokai Community Health Center’s campus expansion in Hawaii, and the new Minnewaukan Public School in North Dak

Travois was recently named a “Champion of Business” by The Kansas City Business Journal. Along with 14 other companies, Travois was recognized for setting gold standards for financial performance, industry leadership and community involvement.

Travois New Markets, a nationally certified Community Development Entity (CDE) based in Kansas City, is a semi-finalist for the National Development Council (NDC) Academy 2013 Awards for its New Markets Tax Credit (NMTC) project with the Winnebago Tribe of Nebraska — Winnebago Educare.

Travois has published an illustrated summary of the corporation’s activities throughout last year.

The Minnewaukan Public School District has a new school for its kindergarten through 12th grade students, thanks in part to New Markets Tax Credit (NMTC) financing provided by Travois New Markets and Chase, Community Development Banking, which played a dual role in the project.
