10th Annual Travois Indian Country Tax Credit Conference

 
Tribal housing and economic development staff, tribal council members and support staff attended the 10th Annual Travois Indian Country Tax Credit Conference, held Aug. 31-Sept.

Two tribal projects recently received awards of Low Income Housing Tax Credits (LIHTCs) from the Arizona Department of Housing (ADOH): The Pascua Yaqui Tribe of Tucson, Ariz. was awarded $633,172 for its first LIHTC project and Yavapai-Apache Nation Tribal Housing (YANTH) of Camp Verde, Ariz.

The Federal Home Loan Bank of Topeka recently announced Affordable Housing Program (AHP) awards, and the Housing Authority of the Seminole Nation of Oklahoma (HASNOK) will receive a $450,000 grant to go toward the construction of 25 new homes in rural Seminole County, reducing tribal contributions t
