15 Travois Conferences (and Countless Memories!)
This month, we are reflecting on the countless happy memories we’ve made at our first 15 Travois Indian Country Affordable Housing & Economic Development Conferences.
We’ve traveled all across the country — from Minnesota to Arizona to Washington and our own hometown of Kansas City — hosted 2,281 attendees, and have been treated to more than 100 delicious meals.
In between informational sessions and panels, we’ve met an Olympic gold medalist, a American Book Award-winning author and poet, a comedian and many others who have enlightened, inspired and informed us. We’ve walked a mile together, toured examples of great affordable housing and shared lots of laughs.
