Alexandria Murnan is the new member of the development team. Alexandria is a project coordinator and will help clients to complete Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) applications, and to gather due diligence items to meet carryover, closing, 8609 and final pay requirements.

Adam Teefey is new to the Travois team! He started early this year as an architect with Travois Design & Construction Services. He is a graduate of Kansas State University where he received a Bachelor of Architecture.

Travois New Markets is excited to announce its two new advisory board members: Joseph Lapilio and Jason Evans.

One of the great things about technology is how quickly and easily we can connect with our partners across Indian Country.

Recently, I made the trip up to Wisconsin to bring back a handmade piece of art to display at our office in Kansas City. This piece of art was crafted by Marvin Defoe, using only what the northern Wisconsin environment provided to him.

On September 18, the Washington State Bar Association honored Travois Advisory Board member Gabe Galanda with its 2014 Excellence in Diversity Award. The association was honoring Gabe for his contribution to diversity in the state’s legal profession.

Bambie Saveland is our accounting assistant and joined the Travois team in January. Bambie monitors financial transactions including expenditures, receipts, accounts payable and receivables. She also helps with clerical tasks.

Alicia Copeland, compliance specialist, has been a part of the Travois Asset Management team since 2013. In her role, she helps tribal clients accurately complete tenant files to ensure that all state and federal requirements are met.

Brett Schwarz, chief financial officer, has been a part of the Travois team for four years. Brett is responsible for the oversight of the financial aspects of Travois, including billing, accounts receivable, accounts payable and the general ledger.

Anyone who has worked with Casey knows that she is as persistent and hardworking as they come. Casey is a great leader, is very well organized, can breeze through a 150+-page partnership agreement with the greatest attention to detail, and is able to leap tall buildings in a single bound.
