All staff involved in the day-to-day management of rental housing projects —executive staff to occupancy specialists and all in between — are invited to attend our upcoming Uniform Physical Conditions Standards (UPCS) Inspection Protocol Training.
The UPCS guidelines are the physical inspection guidelines for all federal and state housing projects. It is very important that all housing staff is familiar with these guidelines in order to successfully pass investor and state housing agency on-site physical compliance inspections.
Mark your calendars and please join me on Tuesday, July 26 and Wednesday, July 27 at the Tulalip Resort Casino in Tulalip, WA.
The training will cover on-site physical inspection requirements associated with Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) projects, NAHASDA, USDA and other HUD-related housing programs. It is designed and highly suggested for those utilizing the LIHTC program.
In the course, I will cover the use and implementation of UPCS inspection protocols.
Participants will learn:
- Property profile and building information entry
- Defect determination
- Health and safety categories
- Life-threatening hazards
The training also provides information on how the use of data can generate reports such as work orders, maintenance trends and capital planning. The training will provide you with realistic economic suggestions and recommendations to help you meet UPCS requirements.
The fee for this training is $225 per person, which covers all materials and break refreshments each day. Click here for a registration form and agenda.
The fee includes:
- UPCS Training Manual
- UPCS Guide
