Social investing and solar tour

It’s a busy week! We are proud to have been named to the ImpactAssets 50 2012, a publicly published database for investors and financial advisors to easily identify private investment opportunities that offer both financial and social or environmental returns.

Other impact investment funds that were also included that you may know are Bank of America/Merrill Lynch Capital Access Funds Management, Calvert Foundation, Grameen Foundation and Habitat for Humanity International – Flexible Capital Access Program. In other news, we are excited that our Kansas City office is one stop on the 2012 Energy Solutions Tour. It is a self-guided tour, organized by the Heartland Renewable Energy Society, that features eight homes and businesses that are energy-efficient or generate renewable energy.

We will show off our 75-kilowatt photovoltaic system that includes 330 solar panels and hope our project will inspire other people or businesses to embark on their own renewable energy projects!

  1. Very interesting our tribe is also looking into solar energy. Have you heard of Zenith Utility consultants? They are proposing to build a solar farm for our tribe.
