Welcome to New Orleans and our 15th annual conference

If you’ve attended one of our past conferences, you know we like to get the week started with a welcome reception. We like to find a fun location in the city, eat some good food, mingle and network, have some laughs and all the fun!

This year isn’t any different. We’ll be hosting our welcome reception at The W Hotel, a quick walk from our host hotel, in its beautiful outdoor courtyard. We’ve got a fun evening planned with delicious food and good company.

The welcome reception begins at 6 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 21. Be sure to book your travel to make the event!

We have reserved a block of rooms at Le Meridien, our host hotel, at a discounted price. Be sure to book soon — the deadline for the discount is Friday, Aug. 28.

If you haven’t registered — get on it! Click here to be directed to the conference registration page. Registration is free of charge to employees of TDHEs, tribes, Alaska Native groups, Native Hawaiian organizations and Native-owned businesses!

You can find the conference agenda here. You’ll notice on Tuesday we’re celebrating our 20th anniversary as a company by recognizing outstanding industry professionals with an awards luncheon! You can nominate a superhero to win one of our 10 awards. But work quickly, the nomination deadline is tomorrow, Friday, Aug. 14.

We’ll see you at the welcome reception Monday evening!
