We will end our Superhero spotlights with this final awardee. Tohono O’odham Ki:Ki Association (TOKA) of Sells, Arizona, was awarded the Project Team of the Year for representing what we are all striving for in Indian Country affordable housing or economic development.

Gabby Murnan is interning with us this summer. She joined the team through an internship opportunity we offered in partnership with Tepa. Our interns will divide their time between the Travois and Tepa offices, both located in Kansas City. Read on to learn about Gabby.

This week we will recognize our Haven of the Year recipient, Eva Doyle. Eva is a member of the Ysleta del Sur Pueblo in El Paso, Texas. She’s worked in affordable housing since 1982 and is currently a Low Income Housing Tax Credit specialist at the YDSP housing department.

Last week we recognized NAHASDA & Tax Credit Compliance Professionals (NTCCP) at the AMERIND Risk | NAIHC Annual Convention & Tradeshow. NTCCP Professionals were called on stage during the Luau & Awards Ceremony and presented with NTCCP designation plaques.
