I recently attended the Colville Indian Housing Authority’s grand opening celebration for its third Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) project.

So far, we’ve recognized an executive director, two attorneys and two behind-the-scenes problem-solvers as part of our 20th Anniversary Superhero Awards. Today, we are focusing on the future.

The Colville Indian Housing Authority recently hosted a grand opening for its third Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) project. The project, named Eagle Nest, is located in Omak, WA, and consists of 12 single-family homes and four duplexes, reserved for tribal elders, and a community center.

I had the opportunity to present on a panel last week at Novogradac’s Affordable Housing Tax Credit Conference in New Orleans. After visiting the city for the Travois conference the previous week, my quick trip back to New Orleans was just as enjoyable.

I had the opportunity last week to participate in the 2015 Minnesota Indian Housing Conference hosted by the Mille Lacs Band of Ojibwe in Hinckley, MN.

One of the best parts of attending conferences is catching up with clients and friends.
