It’s been almost a year since Michelle J., her husband, Harry, and their two children, Jerwin and Amber, moved into their new home on the San Carlos Apache Reservation in San Carlos, Ariz.

The White Mountain Apache Housing Authority (WMAHA) recently closed with the equity investor on its sixth Low Income Housing Tax Credit project, WMAHA Homes VI.

Closing a Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) project with an equity investor takes months of coordination between a dozen or so parties.

The Bois Forte Band of Chippewa held its Veterans Day events to honor military service members on Nov. 8 at the band’s Tribal Government and Community Services Building in Nett Lake, MN.

It was quite an exciting week for the White Mountain Apache Housing Authority (WMAHA).

I have the opportunity to travel to Indian Country as part of my job at Travois. One of my favorite places to visit is the Colville Reservation, located just north of Spokane, WA.

Congratulations to the Standing Rock Housing Authority and BIA Land Management “Terminators” basketball team on winning the 2013 Standing Rock Hoopla Charity Basketball Tournament! The tournament was held to raise money for the McLaughlin Theater.
