Indian Country Today, a leading American Indian newspaper that is distributed across the United States, published an article in its Dec. 9 issue that highlighted Travois New Markets’ assistance to the Bois Forte Community Redevelopment Corporation, helping the group utilize New Markets Tax Credits for a new, energy efficient Community and Government Services Facility.
Wells Fargo placed a $3.7 million New Markets Tax Credit investment in the project, which will be home to community meeting space, tribal government offices and a financial services center such as a credit union or branch bank.
