Conference sessions, tours and activities are going really well at the 12th Annual Travois Indian Country Affordable Housing & Economic Development Conference. Casino Del Sol, an enterprise of the Pascua Yaqui Tribe, has been a wonderful host and has helped us welcome our biggest crowd ever — nearly 230 people!
Attendees have mingled at the welcome reception, engaged in many Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) and New Markets Tax Credit (NMTC) sessions, toured Pascua Yaqui Tribe’s second LIHTC project, sang and danced at karaoke night, walked a mile for health, listened to a heartfelt keynote address by Olympic gold medalist Billy Mills, toured the Pascua Yaqui Education Center site (which was partially funded with New Markets Tax Credits), enjoyed a lot of delicious food and more!
