Thank you to the attendees of the 14th Annual Travois Affordable Housing & Economic Development Conference for joining us in San Diego!

Whenever I travel, I always write out a to-do list. I thought I’d give you a jump-start and start your list for our 14th Annual Affordable Housing & Economic Development Conference.

Recently, I was lucky enough to visit the Fort Peck Indian Reservation in Montana to tag along with the photographer shooting the Fort Peck Housing Authority’s second Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) project.
I have been involved with this project from beginning to end.

Recently, I visited Jeff Ackley of Sokaogon Chippewa Housing Authority (SCHA) on the construction site. Jeff and his team have one successful Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) project up and running, and they have two new projects in the works.

Imagine this scenario:

Lauren Wendlandt is an architect at Travois. She officially joined the Travois Design & Construction Services (TD&CS) team in November but has worked with the company since 2009 on the office, roof deck and furnishings and as a consultant on various affordable housing projects.

Two weeks ago, Cal Tammen, our inspector for Travois Design & Construction Services, traveled across the northern part of our country to visit three clients in two different states.

It was quite an exciting week for the White Mountain Apache Housing Authority (WMAHA).
