After a day of visiting clients in Wisconsin and Minnesota, I am reminded of a few things. First, always pack a warm coat. Second, be sure to brew a cup of Red Lake Nation Foods’ herbal tea before starting a long drive.

Michael Bland is the CDE manager for Travois New Markets and has been with the company for three years. In his position, he is responsible for managing all Travois New Markets’ deals after the closing process.

Phil Glynn is the vice president of economic development for Travois and has worked here for more than six years.

Many followers of this blog might only know the Community Development Financial Institutions Fund (CDFI Fund) as the allocating agency for the New Markets Tax Credit (NMTC). Travois has used more than $200 million in NMTC allocation to serve projects across Indian Country.
