At the end of May, our housing development team, Adam, Casey, Emily S., and I, attended the 2013 Minnesota Affordable Housing Conference in Minneapolis, MN.
The four of us left Bryan Schuler to tend to the office for one day by himself while we participated in the one-day workshop to sharpen our tax credit skills.
The inaugural conference was presented by Minnesota Housing Finance Agency (MHFA) and the University of St. Thomas Opus College of Business and successfully brought together a variety of tax credit industry professionals.
It was a great opportunity to say hello to several of our business partners based in the Twin Cities and get to know some of the MHFA staff better too.
Although our time spent in Minneapolis was limited, we did find a nice Italian restaurant on the pedestrian-friendly Nicollet Mall. We certainly hope to attend this conference again in the future.
