Monday was a big day! We celebrated Indigenous Peoples Day with our annual all-staff meeting and our chili cook-off. There were 17 chili entries this year, and no two were alike.
Our Travoisian chefs got creative with their recipes. Some interesting (and delicious) additions were cinnamon, beer, hot dogs, cocoa powder, taco seasoning, chorizo and carrots.
We also have a sides competition. This year we had two entries: Cinnamon rolls and frybread. Both pair perfectly with chili. Check out this short video of Marzha whipping up homemade frybread!
