This month the Travois Anigadugi Volunteer Committee partnered with Harvesters, a local nonprofit organization that strives “to feed hungry people today and work to end hunger tomorrow.

Travois’ home office, in Kansas City, Mo., is covered in snow! A day before winter, we got our first snowfall of the season. The metro area experienced about 3 inches of snow — enough to make morning commutes a little tricky.

During November each year, men around the U.S. and world grow moustaches to help raise awareness and funds for men’s health issues, specifically prostate and testicular cancer initiatives.

November is the time to celebrate the rich and diverse cultures, traditions and histories of American Indians and Alaska Natives.

Travois’ 3rd Annual Chili Cook-Off started out our week at the Kansas City office. On Monday, 13 employees brought in their best chili and cornbread dishes, welcomed family members to join us, and the competition began.

To promote goodwill between Turkey and tribal nations in the United States, Turkish International Cooperation and Development Agency (TIKA) will present one grant up to $1 million to an Indian Country infrastructure development project.

Conference sessions, tours and activities are going really well at the 12th Annual Travois Indian Country Affordable Housing & Economic Development Conference.
