Travois had the pleasure of hosting Don Coyhis, a member of the Mohican Nation from the Stockbridge-Munsee Reservation in Wisconsin, two weeks ago at our office.
Mr. Coyhis spoke about the historical trauma that American Indian tribes endured and his work to encourage intergenerational healing. He shared details about his background and outlook on life and gave an overview of challenges many American Indian tribes face every day.
His talk was incredibly inspirational and moving, and we were honored to meet him. We hope that we see him again soon!
