Top five reasons to attend the NAIHC tuition-free training: Developing Sustainable Tribal Housing – July 18-19

5. It’s free!

4. It’s a chance to see Buffalo, N.Y., without any snow on the ground!

3. Travois will be there! (More specifically, David Grimes, architect for Travois Design & Construction Services, and I will be there)

2. We will be providing valuable tips about how to build and rehabilitate healthy, green affordable housing, including in-depth discussions on things like solar panels, passive solar design, efficient thermal envelopes, Energy Star products and energy-efficient equipment and materials. The course will be presented by David Grimes, who is certified as a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) professional. Come with plenty of questions and comments about your past experience with green building. The best sessions are those in which we can share our common experience, both good and bad.

1. Did we mention it’s free?!
