How to Build Homes with Other People’s Money
Adam Rose and Marie Allen will give an introduction to funding programs, like the LIHTC program and the Affordable Housing Program (AHP), which can leverage scarce tribal resources to build large-scale housing developments or rehabilitate existing rental units on tribal land. Kristen Aitkens, general manager of tribal operations for Prairie Band Potawatomi Nation, and Joe Sazue, executive director of the Eastern Shoshone Housing Authority, will discuss their experiences.
