Compliance manager | Travois Asset Management & Compliance

You have to remember the big picture. Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) asset management and compliance is details-driven. I love details. But let’s remember why we are doing this. Our goal isn’t to have perfect files. Our goal isn’t to have pristine records. These are important and they contribute to our goal. The goal is much simpler and much more important: getting families into homes.

I have an extensive background in affordable housing — I won the 2010 Manager of the Year award from the Rural Rental Housing Association in Oklahoma. My degree in business management from Missouri Southern State University, and my on-site experience helps me put myself in your shoes. I know what it is like to deal not only with the financial issues, but also the site, facilities and people issues that are inherent in housing. Of course I have all the acronyms you need — HCCP, NTCCP, HCM-R, UPCS and NCP. But my focus on serving families and my direct experience managing units are just as important.

Let’s start with the big picture first — helping you do your best work to serve the families who need it the most. That will give us the energy we need to roll up our sleeves and dig into the details.
