Many of you know the story of how my father, David Bland, and my mother, Marianne Roos, started Travois back in 1995.

I feel like I am a pretty good co-worker. I do my best to put my coffee mugs in the dishwasher. I refill the copy paper.

Since my start with Travois in May, I have had the wonderful opportunity to travel all over the country.

We help clients reach the critical goal of providing decent, safe and affordable housing for families who need them. But after a project is funded, construction is completed, and homes are rented to families, we’re not finished. The hard work continues: managing and maintaining the homes.

Tribal Colleges and Universities (TCUs) are essential components to building strong communities. Travois is a proud supporter of the American Indian College Fund and its efforts to provide scholarships and support for the nation’s 34 tribal colleges.
