I had the opportunity last week to participate in the 2015 Minnesota Indian Housing Conference hosted by the Mille Lacs Band of Ojibwe in Hinckley, MN.

The success of the Mille Lacs Band of Ojibwe is obvious to anyone who passes through the reservation or the Twin Cities. The band has built a strong foundation in hospitality and related industries.

A strange thing happened on my recent trip to Seattle — the sun shined the entire time. Other than that, my trip to Washington was full of familiar faces and places. It was great to have breakfast with Gabe Galanda, one of our CDE advisory board members.
